| Artist Name: | | | Profile Picture: |  | | About Me: | Mickee has been spinning the decks from way back in the early 80’s playing Jazz funk and Soul in the local wine bars and clubs. Progressing into the 90’s, Mickee started hosting his own underground parties in and around London, playing mainly Trance and Techno, before being one of the first DJ’s to introduce Hard House on the scene. Along with releasing a couple of tunes on his own label, Wonka’s Music Factory, Mickee held down regular slots on Don FM & Flex FM ( local pirate radio stations). As well as holding down several residencies in London and Kent for promoters such as Seduction and Ghost, Mickee also spent a lot of time on the Irish underground scene where his family now reside.
After taking time out to raise a family, Mickee is now back on the scene once again and was recently asked to play at the inaugural Funky Delhi festival back in the summer 2008. He now spends most of his time producing tracks and running his label Wonkas Digital alongside Steve Phet, who have teamed up again after a ten year absense. |
