About Me:

With a mother who is a dance teacher/choreographer and a father who is a drummer/producer, Twister was thrown into the world of music at an early age. Beginning with school musicals and choir and eventually graduating to the big screen, Twister has always been involved in the performing arts. It wasn’t until early 2000 that Twister discovered the world of electronic dance music. That night in March when friends took him to his first electronic music festival Twister vowed to become a DJ. Just two years later, he decided to try his hand at event production and founded Silent Productions in San Francisco. On September 4th, 2005, one of Twister’s dreams came true when he had the honor of playing the opening set for DJ Donald Glaude; one of his major musical influences. In 2006, Twister moved to Albuquerque, New Mexico where he continued to throw events with Silent Productions, including two of Albuquerque’s largest outdoor events, “Renegade” and “Renegade II.” In New Mexico, Silent Productions teamed up with production companies Spectrum505, Nothing To Lose and EcoPlasmic to throw dozens of shows. Twister also had the honor of headlining at Albuquerque’s premier Lotus Nightclub and VIP Lounge. In 2008, Twister once again relocated, this time to Portland, Oregon where he has set Silent Productions aside for the time being. He is currently focusing on honing his skills as a DJ. In early 2009, Twister proudly signed with one of Portland’s finest up-and-coming crews, StarCatchers Productions. Watch for Twister’s name popping up on fliers all over the Rose City.
